In the spring of 1954, approached Walt Disney, the Texas oil and television pioneer Jack Wrather Wildcatter on the possibility of building houses for the many guests whom Walt had hoped, its innovative “theme park” the file, then under construction in Anaheim, California. Since the “Imagineering” and the construction of Disneyland took almost all the money, he approached Walt Jack hopes that an old friend would be ready for such a risk. Rather was the producer of Lassie, The Lone Ranger and Sgt. Preston of the Yukon, a popular 1950′s television programs.
